Ok. ^^ My anger has gone, I can explain now.

Soooooo I had Reseating[1] in Orchestra today in LVYO[2].

Everyone left the room except for the Cellos, and the cello-coach[3] stayed with us to hear us do these excerpts she picked out from the songs we're playing for this Fall Concert.

So I sat in the back with Dexter and eventually played, and then the others finished.

You couldn't believe this one chick. She got 8th chair, I got 11th. Anyway, this chick played the America The Beautiful by memory, totally sucked and eventually gave up in the middle of it, then went on to the next two excerpts. So she missed the shift[4] on the first excerpt, then she quit in the middle of the second one. Just quit.

Then as the coach let us practice together under her direction[5], and the chick was packing up and left!

She came back after the whole Orchestra joined up again, and we got our chairs. Like I said, she got 8th, I got 11th.

And I know that I didn't screw up as bad as her. Dexter got 10th, and he did a bit better than me.

Unbelievable. Still.

I talked to Angie and some other friends about it, they also got a low chair, when they did better than most people. Gah. RIGGED I SAY. -.-

I gotta go now -.-'

N'Duuuuoooo, I still didn't get that e-mail o.O So I'll check tomorrow.

Ja.

----------------------------

[1]Reseating = playing these excerpts chosen by a cello-coach and then whomever did the best and less mistakes gets the first chair, second chair, etc.

[2]LVYO = Las Vegas Youth Orchestra

[3]Cello Coach = A person that specifies in teaching the Cello only, she'll work with all the cellos together as a group without the other instruments. This is called Sectionals.

[4]Shift = Moving up and down the finger-board of the cello and not staying in position, there are different positions, I know of six for the cello so far, and can play four.

[5]under her direction = picking bars of music we need work, and helping all of us play it well.

P.S.

RIIIIGGGGGGED. -.-
