Jesus, I'm an idiot. I just realized that I can edit the division to be nice and long and put the Taggy in there.
..Taggy reminds me of Taghngarth. o.O DADDY!
...
Yeah, so don't mind me. It's Easter and I'm bored.
Hm, let's find something useful to babble about.
Movies!
Yeah, movies. I'm doin' a review! ^_^
===================================
Movie name. First Comments: Ghost Ship. It's not as scary as I thought it was, which was weird because all the previews for it were making Ghost Ship the whole horror movie deal. Maybe it's just me, though.
The Beginning.: (Without or little opinions:) It was a little confusing at first. Was it Spanish, was it Italian? You didn't know, unless you knew the language, until further on in the movie. It leaves you guessing on what happened to everyone else on the ship that wasn't shown and until it's cleared up, throughout the movie you're left still wondering about it. The switch to the present day was in a rush, but after the first few minutes of it, you get the explanation of what the Hell everyone was doing and why.
(My Comments:)The way the people in the beginning died was... not real. It was impossible. It was unbelievable. It was stupid. No way in Hell could anything like that happen. I could understand if the man and the little girl were on the outside of the circle of people and the wire had gone up at the end where it belonged. The complete switch to the present day was a little too fast- there should have been some explanation before all you see is a woman and two guys diving down to repair some ship. It slowed down after the first scene, things are laid out, but still had me wondering what in all seven Hells' names was that Spanish ship about.
And then... (Random Opinions and Comments):
The movie was a little slow after that. They did have some spiffy scenes and the way they found the ship was, to me, cool.
It continued to be slow paced until more of the plot is laid out and that sweet explosion.
But still, it was a little too predictable. I had it all figured out way before the antagonist was shown and what not.
Graphics!: The graphics were a little.. noticable, but for people who don't look at those things, I'd say they were nice.
Dialogue: Dialogue was understandable throughout the movie. No low whispers or mumbles that'd make you turn to the other person and ask "What'd they say?" and then having to rewind the movie back a bit to listen closely.
The Ending: The ending. I loved the -very- ending of Ghost Ship. It almost seemed like the way it ended, Steve Beck (The Director) was trying to make it into somewhat of a Jaws Effect Junior ( You know, how everyone was afraid to go into the ocean after that movie ) or a Psycho Effect Junior ( Afraid of taking showers for a while ) by making people afraid to go on a cruise ship.
I know I would be a bit jumpy if I watched Ghost Ship -before- my Ensenada Cruise.
Overall: Overall I really liked this movie. It could be improved to make it an absolute favorite of mine, but all the same, I'd watch it again and again.

And that's that! Now to add the TagBoard and go on with my 'merry' Easter.
